Ahhh I'm so in love with Friendship is Magic. :icondashawesomefaceplz:

I know a lot of stuff on this is pretty bad. I decided to just color a rough sketch I did, playing around with different styles. It will probably make some people mad that I took liberties with their look instead of sticking to the traditional My Little Pony style. Sorry if you don't care for dem long legs! ^^; Also, it's pretty rough, something I don't have an excuse for other than I'm tired and felt lazy. There's a lot of original pencil lines in there, but I'll consider this practice for the next MLP piece I wanted to do.

Simple story: I LOVE the story (and fan-lore) of Celestia and Luna. I can't imagine how lonely Celestia must have been during those 1000 years, and how sad Luna must have been knowing she missed so much time with her sister because of NM. So this is my way of saying "they made up for it", here they have spent another 1000 years together. Luna's all grow'ed up! :crying: They've created one of the rare eclipses in Equestria, and they're both quite happy to be able to use their magic together!

(also, Luna's hair "sparkle" has nothing to do with NM, I figure after 1000 years she's mastered magic as Celestia did, and so her hair just has that lovely natural sparkle that comes with being an uber magical being) :iconprincesslunaplz:

This is lovely! I'm a big fan of Celestia / Luna pieces, and this one doesn't disappoint! I am enjoying the interesting art style you used here. It really helps make this picture more distinctive in comparison to other styles that try to stay as close to the actual show as possible.

Overall, a splending addition to my faves!
