This is Artemis, from the Wonder Woman universe, as depicted by the Ame Comi statue line. I chose doing this costume for a number of reasons...she's an amazon (literally!), she wears a lot of green (my favorite color) and has red hair !!
I should point out that I took some artistic liberties with this. Unfortunately, DC went a little cheap with this particular figure, and it's simply a repaint of the original Wonder Woman statue they made. It's nice that they DID do Artemis, but still it cut corners. Because of this, the Artemis figure originally held a sword and shield. However, Artemis is an ARCHER. Yes, she has been depicted using swords, but she is an archer and I was mad they just gave her a sword because the WW statue had one. So I redesigned them into a bow, quiver, and arrow set that I felt suited her a lot more. Also, I removed the Lasso of Truth, because it's already on the WW statue, and they both shouldn't have one!
Also, I love this color wig. It's SO PRETTY.
I'm waiting on some pictures I had taken with a wonderful matching Wonder Woman. Most of these are either test shots or a few convention photos from Akon '11, while I wait for more!
